Prato Piazza in Val di Braies is a high-plateau at 2000 m altitude with a fantastic view of the Dürrenstein, the Hohe Gaisl, Monte Cristallo and the Tofane. The Three Peaks are the most famous landmark of the Dolomites and South Tyrol. They are located in the Drei Zinnen Nature Park and are part of the Unesco World Heritage. From the Höhlenstein Valley near Dobbiaco you have an excellent view of the northern rock formations of the Three Peaks. There is also the possibility to make a hike from Sesto to the Dreizinnenhütte, which is located at the foot of the Three Peaks, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountain peaks.
