Benedikt Röser has fulfilled his lifelong dream. In 2020, the smokehouse was built at the high-altitude Mittersteiner Hof, a mountain farm that is over three hundred years old and which the Röser family bought many years ago.
Benedikt's passion for angling and fishing has accompanied him since childhood. His enthusiasm for fly fishing, which he discovered during one of his numerous visits to Norway, finally brought him to salmon. Now he has made it and is realising this dream, together with his family, in the heart of the Dolomites.
Benedikt is a very nature-loving person, and learned a lot about organic farming and the relevance of sustainability from his brother. For him, it was clear at an early stage that only high-quality and natural ingredients would be used for the refinement of salmon.
