From the starting point, follow the Bahnhofsstraße, cross the bridge and follow the signs for "Radweg" in the direction of Olang. After a few metres, turn right before the subway to reach the cycle path. On this route you pass the new bypass, the riding stables and the Pustertal railway line to reach the Olang lake. After about 5 km, at the end of the lake, turn left at the road and continue to the bend in front of the Oberolang cemetery. At the crossroads turn left again and keep to trail marker no. 39. Across wide meadows, fields and woods you reach the hamlet of Salla (1239m). To get back to Welsberg, always stay on trail no. 39, which then continues to Welsberg.
