From the starting point, follow trail no. 38 A, which leads to the Taistner Alm (2012m, refreshments available). From there, continue on the trail marked no. 38 across the alpine pastures up to the Klenkboden (2186m). Later you hike to the Taistner Hinteralm (1955m, no refreshments). Shortly before, however, you hike to the old Ochsenhütte (2124m) and from there over the southeast and south ridge, medium steep to steep, up to the summit cross of the Amperspitze (2687m). Descent: The descent follows the ascent route.
