A secret tip is the high altitude cross-country ski run on the top of Prato Piazza in the middle of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park. Prato Piazza is a high plateau in the Braies valley. The cross-country ski run is situated at 2000m above sea level and offers a fantastic landscape (with a view of the Hohe Gaisl, Monte Cristallo and Tofana) and snow guarantee until April. 

Directions

By car into the Braies valley until the fork Prato Piazza and further to Brückele. From Brückele the access to Prato Piazza is only possible before 10.00 am and after 3.00 pm between the end of December and the beginning of April - attention: winter tyres or snow chains are compulsory. Shuttle service available from Brückele from December till April.
