The events have a limited number of participants (min.- max.). Children up to 13,9 years can participate free of charge! Binding registration the day before the event take place within 5.00pm at the reception or in the tourist information office. For the events on Monday within Monday 10.00 am.

Cultural guided village tour

Monday

The meeting point is the octagonal tower of the water station at the railway station in Monguelfo, which served as a filling station in the era of steam locomotives. Walk through the historic Prenninger Park to the village centre. Get insight into the life and work of the baroque painter Paul Troger, who was born in Welsberg. Get interesting facts about the history of the village and entertaining anecdotes at the numerous village fountains. Followed by an aperitif with a presentation of the active programme for guests.

Mountain farmer Seppila's liquor workshop

Monday

Tasting of homemade mountain spirits and fine liqueurs with homemade South Tyrolean farmhouse bacon and "Schüttlbreatl". The production of grappa, the difference between schnapps and liqueur and many other interesting details from the world of spirits will be explained.

E-Bike Tour the the Pragser Wildsee

Tuesday

Passing rustic farmhouses of the Gsieser Tal valley, through untouched nature and varied paths, the route leads to the most beautiful mountain lake of the Dolomites, the Pragser Wildsee, Unesco World Natural Heritage. Helmet compulsory. Suitable for children from the age of 12. Possibility to stop for refreshments.

Sunrise at the Three Peaks

Tuesday - From beginning of June on

Just before sunrise the morning atmosphere is most intense, it is called the "blue hour". From the Auronzo hut (2330m) to the Paternsattel or Forcella di Mezzo (about 50 min) and further around the Three Peaks to the Lang Alm. Return with the hiking bus. Self-catering. Warm clothing needed.

Discover and experience the diversity and beauty of nature with a rich alpine flora rich the Gsies Valley. Hike from the hamlet of Ampfertal in St. Magdalena to the summit cross at Hörneggele (2127m) with a beautiful view to the dolomites. self catering.

Guided tour through Welsperg Castle

Welsperg Castle is the oldest castle in the area between Bruneck and Lienz (A). Documented for the first time in 1167, the castle catches the eye mainly because of its high keep. Interesting guided castle tour.

E-Bike Tour through the Dolomites

E-bike tour to the plateau Plätzwiese at 2000 masl with stunning views to the Dolomites. Descent to Schluderbach into the Höhlenstein Valley. Short rest at Lake Dürrensee with view to the Three Peaks. Continue to Lake Toblach and via the Pustertal cycle path to Welsberg. Helmet compulsory. Suitable for children from the age of 12. Possibility to stop for refreshments.

Earth pyramids in Percha

Friday

The earth pyramids of Percha are an architectural masterpiece of nature. Through landslides, water, snowmelt and erosion, these natural phenomena have been created over centuries. Hike to the Gönneralm with a magnificent view of the Dolomites and the Pustertal valley. Descent via trail no. 6 to the earth pyramids and via Platten back to the starting point in Oberwielenbach. Possibility to stop for refreshments.
